Whiteknights Studio Trail comes to town

Whiteknights Studio Trail comes to town for an exciting exhibition with Pride of Reading award nominees Haslams.

Once in a while the artists, designers and makers of the Whiteknights Studio Trail like to put on their glad rags and come to town to show their work in a central Reading location. This time we’re proud to be hosting the exhibition at our landmark town centre office. The exhibition will be an opportunity for the public to view and buy work from the group, an exciting mix of talented artists, designers, jewellers and makers of all kinds. A perfect way to get ready for Christmas and maybe tick some presents off your list.

Jenny Halstead WST Co-ordinator says:

‘This is the third time in our 16 years that WST has had an extra event and ‘come to town’, but this is the first time in this wonderful venue and we are so very grateful to Haslams for this invitation. We have an evening opening with a glass of wine to welcome you on Friday 18th November 6.30 -9pm and we are open all day on Saturday 19th 9.30 – 4.30pm when 24 artists will show and sell their work in this pre-Christmas event.’

The “WHITEKNIGHTS STUDIO TRAIL” is a walking trail of artists’ studios in the University of Reading area. The event is now in its 16th year. Every year the artists, designers and makers of the Whiteknights area of Reading open their home studios and invite people to see them at work and chat to the artists themselves.
