Auction Case Study: Crescent Road

Overview

We were instructed by a local firm of solicitors, acting as Executors for the estate, to manage the sale of the property. Despite being marketed previously by two town centre firms, the property had failed to sell, leaving the need for a more effective approach.

The Strategy

We suggested the property should be sold by traditional online auction with a four-week marketing period designed to maximise exposure and buyer interest. Our campaign included comprehensive online promotion, the distribution of property particulars and focus on driving competitive bidding.

The Results

The marketing campaign generated over 3,000 online views and more than 1,600 sets of property particulars were sent out. This led to 9 competitive bids being made and led to a successful exchange of contracts at the close of the sale. The Executors achieved the certainty and timely outcome that they hoped for.
