The Lettings teams at Haslams and Michael Hardy hosted an event for its landlord clients at Haslams’ offices in Reading on Thursday 7 November 2024, focusing on how the Autumn Budget 2024 and the Renters’ Rights Bill might impact the Reading rental market.
Presentations were made by Haslams Group’s MD Dan Channer who shared his thoughts on various aspects of the Renters’ Rights Bill, Tax Manager Josh Eveleigh from Crowe U.K. LLP discussed how the Budget announcements will affect UK property investors, and Tom Wheeler, Sales Manager for mortgage advisor Smart Advice shared some of the best rates on a range of mortgages and re-mortgaging options for landlords, followed by an engaging Q&A session.
