Matthew Thame, a Year 9 student, was thrilled to win an iPad, courtesy of Haslams Estate Agents, after winning a competition run by the property company.

The competition asked children to name the animal that was part of the Tropper Potts memorial statue. Matthew correctly guessed it was a lion and his name was drawn out of the many young people that entered.

Matthew (pictured above with Steve Woodford, Managing Director of Haslams) was absolutely delighted to win the iPad and has already downloaded some ‘apps’. He also plans to use the tablet for homework and keeping in touch with his friends.
