Next week sees the return of the Thames Valley Property Awards on Thursday 9th December. The Thames Valley, which includes Reading, Slough and Oxford, is a prosperous region and these awards celebrate the very best businesses and individuals within the industry. We are thrilled to share that Megan Eighteen, who has recently joined Haslams as our Business Development Manager, has been nominated for Young Property Person of the Year 2021.
Megan has thrived as a regional executive for Propertymark, inspiring other agents both in the region and beyond, thanks to a passion for the legislation and compliance that are central to the private rental sector. Megan uses her friendly and energetic approach posting videos on a variety of professional and social media platforms to educate both landlords and tenants, and we believe her nomination and becoming a finalist are well-deserved.
In response to the difficult task faced by judges in selecting finalists and winners the Senior Adviser at awards organiser The Business Magazine, Peter Laurie, said:
“The last 18 months have been like no other for the property sector and all of our finalists rose to the challenges they came up against.
Businesses operating in both the commercial and residential property sectors have had to be agile in seeking new opportunities and these awards recognise their outstanding efforts.”
Alongside her new role at Haslams, Megan will continue to support her landlords with advice and guidance, as well as her work as the Regional Executive for Regional Executive for Oxfordshire & Berkshire at ARLA Propertymark.
Haslams is part of the Haslams Group which includes Michael Hardy Estate Agents Wokingham and Crowthorne, operating lettings, residential and new homes sales within the Thames Valley region. Visit the LinkedIn pages for Megan and Haslams.
